Here are some neuroscience books I’ve read and courses I’ve taken that I’d recommend.

Books

Introductory Neuroscience Books:

• Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst

• Biology and Human Behavior: The Neurological Origins of Individuality, 2nd Edition

• Cognitive Neuroscience: A Very Short Introduction

• For neuroanatomy and helpful graphics: The Human Brain Book

• For a very easy to read book that also covers the relationships between neuroscience and psychology, I recommend Brains Explained

Advanced Neuroscience Books

• Cognitive Neuroscience: The Biology of the Mind by Gazzaniga

• Principles of Neural Science by Kandel

Both of the above books are used in introductory and advanced neuroscience classes in universities. 

Courses

My Course:
